What skills and experience we're looking for
Weare seeking a passionate and dedicated Communication Support Worker witha strong understanding of British Sign Language (BSL). The ideal candidate willpossess a deep understanding of the need for truly inclusive education,particularly for children with Autism and profound hearing loss. You will beskilled in providing tailored support that empowers our pupils, fostering theirindependence and enhancing their communication skills.

Theideal applicant will have:
Minimum requirement level 1 BSL,although level 2 or above is preferred. Completion of DfE Teacher Assistant InductionProgramme or equivalent qualifications or experience. NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or appropriate levelof experience of operating in the classroom environment. An ability to workconstructively as part of a team. Experience of working with children with Autismand/or Complex Communication Needs. Be ready for anexciting challenge, supporting a class teacher to lead their class and a smallteam of Level 1 Learning Support Assistants.
