Our client are currently hiring for a Technical Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality/Technical professional to take the lead in ensuring compliance, maintaining high technical standards, and driving continuous improvement. This is an ideal role for someone looking to step into their first Technical Management role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all aspects of technical compliance in line with their customers standards.
* Lead audits and maintain up-to-date accreditation.
* Ensure effective implementation of quality and safety systems across the site.
* Develop and maintain the site's HACCP plan and technical documentation.
* Manage customer and supplier technical relationships.
* Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
* Lead and mentor the QA/Technical team to ensure consistent performance and development.
About You:
* Previous experience in a Technical or Quality role or similar role within a BRC-accredited organisation.
* Strong understanding of BRCGS standards, HACCP, and quality management systems.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to manage audits, customer visits, and technical documentation.
* Flexible, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Salary up to £42,000 dependant on experience.
