Our client is looking for a Groundworks Foreman to work at a location in Christchurch
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising groundworks operatives on site
* Coordinating daily site activities, labour, and materials
* Ensuring all work is completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard
* Overseeing a range of groundworks tasks including drainage, foundations, and external works
* Maintaining and enforcing health & safety standards on site
* Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and other trades
* Completing basic site paperwork and reporting progress
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience working as a Groundworks Foreman
* Strong background in groundworks and civil engineering projects
* SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
* Valid CSCS Card
* First Aid (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to lead a team while remaining hands‑on when required
* Reliable, organised, and committed to delivering quality work
