About the Role
The role of Deputy Nursery Manager is a critical part of the leadership team within Salford Family Nurseries. We are looking for someone who can:
* Lead and inspire a team of passionate Early Educators
* Ensure the highest standards of care and education for all children
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
* Create and implement engaging, age‑appropriate curriculum
* Oversee daily operations and maintain a safe, inclusive environment
* Provide exceptional support for children with SEND, working closely with families and external professionals
* Act as Nursery SENCO when required
About you
* A full and relevant childcare qualification at Level 3 or above
* A minimum of 2 years post‑qualifying experience working in early years
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
* A commitment to safeguarding, supporting children with SEND and promoting inclusive practice
