To be successful as an Enterprise Architect, you should have experience with:

* Technically/functionally worked on Banking Domain specifically in Fraud Domain on a variety of complex applications, particularly in Payments Fraud, Onboarding/Application Fraud, Biometrics usage for Risk assessment, High Risk Customer Journeys such as Authentication, Adding New Devices, etc., and understanding the need for a variety of Fraud Signals such as Device, Behaviour, Phone, Sim cards, Voice, etc.
* Delivering complex architectures in the past for Fraud based on Low Latency, High Volume, High Throughput, Data-Driven environments, and understanding how to balance total costs of ownership, long-term, medium-term, and short-term planning with a focus on software delivery.
* Leadership, Communication, Critical Thinking.

Additional valued skills may include:

* TOGAF certification
* Cloud Skills
* Experience working in a product environment

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology skills, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role will be based in either the Glasgow or Northampton office.

Purpose of the role

To develop and evolve the bank's technology architecture through relevant solutions, strategies, and execution plans aligned with and prioritized by business and technology objectives, including the development, evolution, and adoption of foundational platforms and products.

Accountabilities

* Development, evolution, and implementation of the bank's technology architecture and strategies aligned with business and technology objectives, enabling execution and operations.
* Collaboration with stakeholders, including Enterprise Architecture teams and other developers, to provide expertise, share knowledge, and foster continuous improvement, ensuring client needs are met.
* Motivation and leadership of diverse teams of technologists, business, and operations staff, aiming to align business and technology strategies and standards, identify opportunities, and connect people.
* Assessment of new technologies to meet current and future business needs through curiosity and problem-solving skills.
* Determination of optimal solutions while balancing requirements imposed by compliance, governance, security, and funding, with a deep understanding of business and customer outcomes.
* Monitoring and analysis of application performance, resiliency, and stability to identify and resolve issues, communicating findings to stakeholders.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and staying informed of industry developments impacting bank operations and controls.
* Supporting engineering and architecture community initiatives to mentor team members, streamline operations, and share knowledge.
