Robert Half are working in partnership with an established business in Chippenham to recruit a Management Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity where you will take ownership of the management accounting processes for the business, whilst supporting with key business decisions and operational finance tasks. The salary is between £35,000 - £42,000 plus hybrid working.
The Role
The main duties of the Management Accountant role will consist of the following:
1. Preparing the monthly management accounts; balance sheet and P&L
2. Balance sheet reconciliations
3. Accruals and prepayments
4. Financial reporting
5. Fixed assets and depreciation
6. Posting journals
7. VAT returns
8. Cash flow forecasting
9. Preparing aged debtor and creditor reports
Profile
The Management Accountant role would be suitable for someone that has the following skills/experience:
10. Proven experience preparing management accounts
11. Ideally part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience
12. Strong organisational skills
13. Confident user of Excel; familiar with pivot tables and lookups
14. Good attention to detail
15. Strong communication skills
16. Excellent collaboration skills
