Store Manager role at Travis Perkins plc

What You'll Do
* Delivering an outstanding customer proposition. This isn’t your average retail role. It’s much more than an average Store Manager job. You’ll manage the Branch, but you’ll also be serving customers, checking deliveries, picking items from the warehouse and stocking shelves. You’ll lead a team to achieve great things and ensure customers notice and love us for it.
* Day-to-day responsibilities: delivering great service, ensuring your team provide a great customer experience and delivering sales through service.
* Mucking in: checking and unpacking deliveries, opening and closing the branch, stocking shelves, cleaning the branch and putting orders together.
* Inspiring: encouraging a positive mindset, building a culture of feedback, praise and recognition.
* Asking questions and building relationships: ensuring the development needs of your team are met, supporting future business growth and succession, and ensuring customers leave the branch with everything they need for the job.
* Leading: coaching, motivating and engaging your team to create a great place to work where engagement is key.
* Building a fun working environment: maintaining product availability and high branch standards while making the branch a place people enjoy coming to work.
