We are a high‑achieving school in Bromley seeking a bright STEM graduate to join as an unqualified STEM teacher from November, on a permanent basis.
Unqualified STEM Teacher + Teacher Training - The Job Description
Starting November 2025, salary ranges from £28,000 to £36,000 per annum, depending on experience. This permanent, full‑time role involves teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 STEM, marking, tracking progress, and supporting the wider STEM department. Teacher training will be fully funded from September 2026 if you are successful in the application process.
* Teach across GCSE and A‑Level mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.
* Work on a reduced timetable with classes in KS3 (Year 7–10) for the first year, gradually taking on more exam classes in Year 11.
* A‑Level teaching is required; confidence in STEM subject knowledge is essential.
* Subject to successful application, receive full teacher training starting September 2026.
Unqualified STEM Teacher + Teacher Training - The Person Specification
* 1st Class/2:1 STEM Degree – ESSENTIAL
* Strong A‑Levels and GCSEs.
* Confident teaching of classes up to 30 students.
* Experience in education (unqualified teacher or cover supervisor) is desired but not essential.
