We are looking to appoint a Specialty Registrar in Urology (ST3+).
Bart's Health is one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK and offers comprehensive service covering the full range of patients across the Urology Network. Newham University Hospital is part of the Barts Health Department of Urology services and is one of the designated GIRFT Hubs for High Volume Low Complexity Urological Surgery for East London.
The Specialty Registrar in Urology position is for 12 months, working mainly at Newham University Hospital. There are on-call commitments across one of our network hospitals (Whipps Cross Hospital). A pay banding supplement is payable for participation in the on-call rota at middle grade level.
You must hold full registration with the General Medical Council and be on the Specialist Register.
The post-holder will be expected to participate fully in the clinical work of the Department, providing high standards of care for both in-patients and outpatients. The duties of the post will support both the Out-Patient activities and in-patient care of patients in the Unit, in line with SAC directives regulating SpR training activities. Duties may change from time to time to reflect needs.

* Involvement in the operating lists
* On call for the management of urological emergencies as part of the Middle Grade Registrar of the Week rota and out-of-hours rota
