Permanent Accounts / Payroll Specialist required for Lisburn. Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts and Payroll Specialist for payroll and financial accounting within the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 300/400 employees, maintaining accurate financial records, using Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts systems. Duties will Include: Process payroll for approximately 300/400 employees using Sage Payroll. Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and statutory payments. Manage and process PAYE, National Insurance, and Pension submissions in line with legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain employee payroll records and assist handle payroll queries promptly and professionally. Accounts and Financial Management Operate and maintain Sage Accounts and ensure accuracy of all entries. Assisting with processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner. Manage Profit & Loss accounts and prepare monthly management accounts and reports for directors. Process and reconcile VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations. Reconcile bank accounts and monitor financial transactions for accuracy. Any other duties required. Essential Criteria: Proven experience in a similar Accounts and Payroll role. Strong working knowledge of Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts software. Solid understanding of accounting principles, payroll legislation, VAT, and PAYE. Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to manage deadlines and work independently under pressure.
