Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at appropriate level of qualification. If electrically qualified, current Electro-technical Certification Scheme (ECS) Card required. (Persons without the appropriate card will not be considered).
* City & Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Willingness to act as AP and RP Medgas as required.
* Time served apprenticeship in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
* Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines, statutes, and ACOPs.
* Understanding of L8 Legionella ACOP within Hospital buildings.
* High level of organisation & time management skills, especially in environments with multiple priorities.
* Sound fault-finding techniques and ability to read drawings.
* Proficient in PC use, including software and systems.
Duties of this role include:
* Complete work orders promptly for planned maintenance, reactive responses, specialist subcontract work, and remedial work.
* Provide routine and specialized engineering maintenance and breakdown support at a hospital site.
* Offer technical, health, safety, and environmental support, acting as an exemplar of company policies.
* Provide training, mentoring, and assistance to site-based technicians or assistants.
* Support hospital managers with engineering advice as needed.
* Demonstrate a proactive culture based on high engineering standards and integrity.
* Help build and develop a strong team ethos.
* Work across Circle Health Group hospitals to cover absences, attend meetings, or provide specialist advice.
