Graduate Building Surveyor – central Bristol office. Working on real projects across private and public sectors including education, defence, healthcare, custodial, residential, culture & heritage, retail, sports & leisure and workplace.
Core Duties
* Supporting the preparation of surveys, designs, reports and contract documents, including drawings.
* General administration of team projects.
* Assisting senior leads with delivery of projects.
* Managing small and medium sized projects as appropriate.
* Attending meetings and presentations where appropriate.
* Supporting or undertaking on-site or other survey work.
* Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements, practices and procedures.
Further Development
Early careers programme covering support towards chartership and necessary soft skills. Mentors are available for everyone, dedicated to providing development opportunities.
Ideal Graduate Building Surveyor will have
* A RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying (expected/achieved).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
* The ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team.
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks.
* A desire to learn, a hunger for progression and a conscientious attitude.
* Commitment to continued professional development and a goal to achieve MRICS statutes within 3-4 years.
* Previous work experience/placement in a Building Surveying role (desirable, not essential).
