Role: German Speaking Credit Controller - 12 months FTC

We are on the lookout for a talented Credit Controller to join our Manchester team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll take ownership of proactive credit control and build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. You’ll be part of a close-knit, collaborative team within a dynamic Finance organization where your contributions will be visible, valued, and impactful.
What You Can Expect:
* Take ownership of proactive credit control, ensuring full, effective management of the ledger.
* Drive performance by achieving monthly KPIs, with a key focus on reducing overdue debt.
* Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders across the business.
* Lead the resolution of queries to secure timely invoice payments.
* Investigate and clear unapplied cash, helping to keep our accounts clean and accurate.
* Play an active role in Month End activities and reconciliations.
* Maintain a well-managed, accurate Accounts Receivable ledger through diligent housekeeping.
What We Expect:
* Experience in an Accounts Receivable role and/or a shared service centre (highly desirable).
* Fluency in spoken and written German and English.
* A keen eye for detail, with an inquisitive mindset and a passion for problem-solving.
