Overview
As a Technical Advisor, you'll be working within the Devonport Dockyard team, supporting them in a major infrastructure redevelopment project within a nuclear defence base.
Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with MOD security requirements, including the Security Aspects Letter (SAL), Cyber Security Model (CSM), and ISO 27001.
* Lead investigations into security incidents, ensuring timely reporting and resolution in line with MOD protocols.
* Support onboarding and assurance of supply chain partners, particularly in relation to IT and cyber security compliance.
* Maintain and update the project's Security Risk Register and contribute to overall risk management strategies.
* Monitor compliance with the Cyber Security Model (CSM) and ISO 27001 across the project and supply chain.
* Proven experience in a security advisory role within a high-security or defence environment.
* Strong understanding of HMG and MOD security frameworks, including SPF/GovS 007, SAL, JSP 440, and CSM.
* Knowledge of HMG/MOD information and cyber security principles, standards, and best practices.
