About You
We’re seeking a results-focused, innovative, self-driven, and qualified individual to join as a Quality Engineer. You will enhance Dymax’s adhesive quality and compliance by executing quality improvement activities, resolving technical issues, maintaining audit readiness, and ensuring operational compliance.
You will:
* Resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions using CAPA, 8D, and FMEA methodologies to address concerns from production, customers, or suppliers, and recommend permanent solutions.
* Apply quality standards and preventative measures by implementing risk-based plans, monitoring procedures adherence, and escalating deviations for corrective actions.
* Manage calibration and inspection activities by reviewing data, verifying schedules, and initiating updates or replacements as needed.
* Integrate quality practices into manufacturing and development processes by validating workflows, reviewing quality deliverables, and suggesting improvements.
* Reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and improve customer satisfaction by investigating complaints, identifying failure patterns, and driving operational improvements.
* Enhance quality expertise within project teams through technical insights, reinforcing standard practices, and promoting quality adherence.
* Maintain ISO compliance and audit readiness by preparing documentation, conducting reviews, and addressing audit findings.
* Coordinate technical communications with customers and suppliers to clarify quality requirements, manage feedback, and ensure follow-up on quality improvements.
Requirements
You should have:
* At least 3 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or process engineering.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
* Familiarity with CAPA, RCA, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D problem-solving, and risk-based quality systems.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Understanding of regulatory standards (ISO, ASTM, ANSI) and quality assurance methodologies.
* Background in adhesives, coatings, or related chemical manufacturing.
* Proficiency with QMS systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and basic statistical tools.

Compensation: $73,700 - $105,900
Our compensation considers factors such as location, skills, experience, and market conditions. Salaries may vary and could be above or below the listed range. This range is part of the total compensation package.
