Radis Community Care is looking for a full-time Support Worker to join our team based in Richard Newcombe, Cambridge. Located in Cambridge, Richard Newcombe features 40-bedroom apartments designed to help local residents maintain independence and control over their lives.
About the role
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will primarily support elderly residents who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them to maintain independence. Your responsibilities include assisting residents with mobility to access dining areas, communal spaces, and their bedrooms upon request.
You will also assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, and dressing. Additionally, you will have opportunities to engage residents in recreational and social activities, both individually and in groups.
The role aims to promote residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of care.
