Reference: 0c3e2260 Two Female Support Workers Required – Cramlington We are seeking compassionate, confident and reliable female Support Workers to support a young man living in Cramlington who has cerebral palsy, autism and severe learning difficulties. He is a friendly, affectionate individual who enjoys meeting new people. He is non verbal and communicates through gestures and vocal sounds, so strong communication and observational skills are essential. Mornings can sometimes be challenging and he may display behaviours that challenge, particularly towards people he knows well. Support workers must be patient, resilient and able to provide clear, calm and consistent boundaries. He is a wheelchair user and requires hoisting for all transfers. Due to his personal care needs and established routine, he responds best to female support.
