Our SMART lighting control solutions focus on sustainability, energy saving and enhancing well-being. Within our Agile R&D organization, we develop new IoT solutions, including hardware, embedded software, sensors, mobile apps, developer APIs, and cloud services.
In recent years, many graduates have joined us and transitioned into full-time roles, making significant contributions in our Embedded, Software, and Testing teams. Team placement depends on their interests and business needs.
Role Purpose:
An Electronics Engineer designs, develops, and tests electronic systems and components. Experience in analog/digital circuit design, embedded systems, and understanding electronics manufacturing processes is essential. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring electronic products from concept to production, covering competencies from electromechanical design to testing and product lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electronic circuits and systems based on requirements.
* Create schematics and layouts using CAD software (Altium).
* Collaborate with mechanical and electromechanical design teams.
* Conduct simulations and analyze designs for functionality and reliability, including tolerance analysis.
* Prototype, test, identify issues, and refine designs.
* Work with quality assurance, third-party labs, and contribute hardware testing results.
* Perform risk assessments and document mitigations.
* Ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and performance standards prior to launch.
* Assist in preparing technical documentation like design specs and user manuals.
* Support product lifecycle activities, including updates and discontinuations.
* Manage product Bills of Materials (PBOM) and electronic components.
* Contribute to detailed product specifications.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
* Engineering degree in Electronics or related field.
* Strong attention to detail and systematic approach.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded systems, and circuit design.
* Experience with power, digital, and/or analog electronics.
* Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, AutoCAD).
* Effective communication skills in multicultural, multisite environments.
* Autonomy and trust in your work.
* Interest in projects impacting product development.
* Ability to work in international teams (UK and Finland).
* Willingness to travel to Finland to meet the team in Espoo.
