Duties
* Provide direct support to individuals with mental health, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, and medication monitoring.
* Implement individualised care plans based on the specific needs of each client.
* Use applied behaviour analysis techniques to promote positive behaviours and skill development.
* Engage clients in recreational activities and social interactions to enhance their quality of life.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during care.
* Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
* Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients while fostering independence.
* Escalate any safeguarding issues accordingly
Experience
* Previous experience working with individuals with mental health challenges is essential.
* Familiarity with risk management within mental health settings is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of patient care practices and medication monitoring is beneficial.
