The Role: Supporting students with a range of SEN needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). Providing 1:1 or small group support to help pupils engage with learning. Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management. Encouraging pupils' independence and confidence in a structured learning environment. Implementing EHCP (Education Health and Care Plan) strategies and adapting learning materials as needed. Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment. Who We're Looking For: Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants or individuals with a passion for supporting children with additional needs. Someone with patience, resilience, and strong communication skills. Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential). Experience working in SEN or mainstream settings (voluntary or paid).
