About the team
FIS’ Merchant Solutions segment ‘Worldpay from FIS’, is the fastest growing segment within FIS and serves large and fast-growing companies targeting internet-led multinationals with complex payment needs supported by vertical expertise in their eCommerce business. Their solutions also provide local in-store, online and mobile payment acceptance solutions for merchants, from large corporates to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs/SMBs) and micro merchants with a focus on integrated payments for SMEs/SMBs. Worldpay’s Strategy division is a best-in-class strategy team who accelerate growth and continue to evolve all aspects of Worldpay’ business.
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Partnerships who will work with our Network Partners to create value through mutual goals and initiatives and increase market share. What you will be doing Reporting directly to the VP, Partnerships. You will own the commercial relationship, including the financial outcomes and strategy around the value chain. This is a fantastic opportunity to affect the top line growth of the organisation, through deep relationship management and business development opportunities and creating new opportunities to grow.
Key responsibilities:
• You will skilfully manage executive relationships of leading payment card brands around the world
• You will have responsibility for the P&L of revenue generated from payment card brands, growing the business internationally
• You will identify, negotiate and execute on new and creative commercial opportunities with payment card brands
• You will work with a large group of internal stakeholders (e.g., scheme compliance, commercial teams etc.) to organize relationships with card brands to ensure we have a joined-up approach and win as one team
What you bring
• You will be a experienced Partnerships professional with in-depth knowledge of the payments industry and the broader eco-system
• A skilled business developer who is innovative in the way they approach growing market share
• A strong sense of team and a willingness to play a part in the growth of your colleagues
• General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices
• Expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel and management across technical and business functions across FIS as well as client/partner organizations
