Position: Team Leader
Location: Milton Keynes (MK4 3FU)
Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7. /Sun -Thurs/ 15:00 -23:00
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
* To supervise, implement and coordinateproductivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
* To track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level
* To promote, adhere to and monitor Health and Safetyrequirements on site, including manual handling health and safety requirements
* Conduct regular 121's, performance reviews, absence reviews and development conversations with the wider Operational team members
* Support with absence cover for other Team Leaders within the operation
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment is essential
* Comprehensive knowledge of warehousing - Desirable
* Previous experience of preparation and distribution of volume orders
* Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to lead by example and lead a team to successfully meet KPI's
* Previous MHE experience would be advantageous
* ok to work 5 of 7 days evening shift 15:00 -23:00
* OK to work 50% on the shop floor, 50% administrative work
