The role of the Imagery Producer is to manage all briefs coming in, work going through, and final jobs coming out of the Image team.
Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite in a week
Description
This includes 3D CG Stills, Animation, 2D Illustration, Photography, and Retouching, all specialist areas that require a dedicated point of contact for the team. To secure team efficiency, this role requires a very organized and methodical individual who has strong communication skills and who is comfortable planning and managing multiple jobs at any one time.
To ensure the team can support all clients across all media, globally. This role requires a high level of competency in managing and multitasking projects with broad deadlines and requirements. Planning each person’s work, understanding timings, and having a deep understanding of the overall project are key to ensuring quality is maintained and deadlines are met. The role involves proactively organizing jobs based on business needs and priorities, keeping records up to date, and communicating any changes. Maintaining open communication lines with Commercial/Project Managers throughout the job’s timeline and updating the Image Team Leaders and Head of Art regularly are essential.
Accountabilities
* Take briefs from any area of the business, plan, and oversee the delivery of all Image brief assets.
* Develop positive, proactive relationships within the team to foster an expert environment.
* Understand the challenges facing our clients’ businesses, both short and long term, to gauge priorities.
* Contribute to discussions on strategy and planning of the team’s work.
* Maintain regular contact with Creative and Commercial Managers during imagery development.
* Argue coherently for or against creative work being briefed based on actual requirements, time, and resources.
* Learn a thorough working knowledge of all client systems, review processes, and production workflows.
* Ensure work progresses through the system and is delivered on time and within budget. Know the status of every job daily.
* Update team members regularly on project statuses.
* Motivate team members during high-pressure periods.
* Maintain a good eye for detail to ensure briefs are precise and accurate.
* Work with brief owners to ensure teams have all assets necessary for timely delivery.
* Act as the communication channel between the Image team and other departments to prevent information loss or misinterpretation.
* Manage the accounts system, raising PO’s for outsourced or freelance imagery.
* Ensure all estimates are presented and approved before work starts.
* Ensure invoices are issued promptly and accurately.
Skills
This position requires at least 3+ years of planning and project management experience, ideally within a CG/Photography environment. A keen interest in CG and/or photography is beneficial. A desire to learn the software used within the team to better understand timings and processes would enhance the impact of the individual in this role. Personal qualities include being a decision maker, having great communication skills, problem-solving abilities, staying level-headed under pressure, being proactive, and maintaining a positive, upbeat attitude at all times.
