Vacancy at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
A full‑time, substantive Consultant position is available in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. Part‑time working is also considered.
Responsibilities
* Work independently in clinic and theatre (full GMC registration required).
* Contribute to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on‑call rota, covering a diverse area of North Yorkshire on a 1:6 basis (7‑day pattern with Friday morning handover).
* Provide teaching to medical students from the Hull York Medical School.
* Engage in research activities and encourage involvement of team members.
* Collaborate with hospital teams, MDTs and adjacent OMFS units.
Qualifications
* Full GMC registration.
* Substantial experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery sufficient to work independently in clinic and theatre.
