Job Title: Credit Controller
Status: Contract
A well-known company based in High Wycombe are looking for a professional and experienced Credit Controller to sit within the Accountancy team. The ideal candidate should be articulate and numerate, have an excellent telephone manner, good all round communication and administration skills, be target driven and organised. A good team player and someone who can work on their own initiative are essential. This is an initial 3 month contract with the potential to be extended further with an immediate start. Responsibilities to include:
1. Handle a ledger as part of a credit control team
2. Maintain accurate and up to date customer details and account records
3. Work with minimum supervision on the collection of overdue accounts
4. The ability to prioritize workloads
5. A proven ability to build strong relationships with customers
6. Experience of working to tight deadlines and achieving targets
7. Make adjustments; handle internal and external queries and resolves issues within company guidelines and policies
8. Work under direction of and reporting to a credit control manager
