Painter – Beannchor Group
Join our team and help keep our hotels, bars and restaurants looking their best! We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join the maintenance team at Beannchor, one of the largest hospitality groups in Northern Ireland.
Job type: Full time, permanent
Hours: 32 per week (4 days)
Please note that this role will require coordination with the maintenance team, including another painter/decorator, to complete work across our portfolio of city centre venues such as Bullitt Hotel, The National, The Dirty Onion, Ulster Sports Club and The Merchant Hotel.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out painting, decorating, and minor repair tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and service areas.
* Prepare surfaces and apply paint, wallpaper, and finishes to a high standard.
* Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to prioritise and schedule work efficiently.
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
* Assist with other basic maintenance tasks when required.
Essential Requirements
* City and Guilds or NVQ Level 1 and 2.
* Proven experience as a painter/decorator (at least 2 years), preferably in a hotel or commercial environment.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
* Good knowledge of materials, tools, and painting techniques.
* Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
* Friendly, professional attitude with a team‑oriented mindset.
* Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if required.
Desirable
* NVQ Level 3.
