An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Security Manager to lead our Award Winning Medirest Security Team. You will lead and develop a highly skilled security workforce, ensuring a safe, secure, and supportive hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage Healthcare Security Supervisors and Officers
* Liaise confidently with clients, police, and multiple stakeholders
* Support incident response, investigations, and post-incident reviews
* Manage rotas, payroll, appraisals, and compliance
* Ensure adherence to NHS, CQC, SIA, and relevant legislative requirements
* Support clinical teams with de-escalation and, where necessary, patient restraint
* Oversee CCTV operations
* Maintain a safe and welcoming environment across hospital grounds
About You
You will be:
* Experienced in a Healthcare Environment
* Passionate about patient, staff, and visitor safety
* A confident leader in high-pressure healthcare environments
* Skilled in communication, empathy, and verbal de-escalation
* Comfortable working with vulnerable individuals and those in distress
* Knowledgeable on NHS security standards, Mental Health Act, and counter-terrorism requirements
* Computer literate and highly organised
* Flexible to meet business needs
