Queen Elizabeth University Hospital requires 1 Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join the Estates dayshift team to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance across the hospital campus. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance across hospital services, including but not limited to AC systems, hot water systems, ventilation equipment, pressure systems and medical gas systems.
* Perform cross-trade duties within a multi-skilled technical team to deliver a high standard of service in building services.
* Provide support for the training and education of apprentices and adult trainees, and assist managers in identifying and setting up training programs.
* Support the delivery of specialist technical services across a range of building services disciplines.
Qualifications and Experience
* Time-served mechanical engineer, qualified to HNC level (or currently working towards this qualification).
* Minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship experience.
