Overview
Civil Engineer – Renewable Energy & Transmission Projects – Liverpool (Hybrid: office & remote)
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000+ alongside Car Allowance + Benefits. A permanent Civil Engineering appointment delivering the transmission framework on various BESS, Wind and renewable energy projects, supporting the integration of renewable energy into the UK grid.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and support civil engineering elements of renewable and transmission projects.
* Provide input on HV design and system integration.
* Work with stakeholders and project partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Attend site visits when required with a hands-on approach when issues arise.
* Collaborate closely within a small, agile, and rapidly growing team.
Key requirements
* Technical background with a degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
* Background in transmission projects, ideally with exposure to BESS and renewable energy infrastructure.
* HV design knowledge and experience liaising with DNOs.
* Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable balancing office (3 days a week), remote, and site-based work.
