Our client, an established independent garage in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, is currently looking for a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. This role offers a diverse workload on various vehicle makes and models, ideal for a technician with strong diagnostic expertise.

* Up to £50,000 basic salary plus performance-related bonus
* Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm
* Every other Saturday morning
* Working alongside a team of 10 skilled technicians

Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
* Diagnosing complex vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
* Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections and assessments
* Ensuring repairs and diagnostics are completed efficiently and to high standards
* Providing technical advice and support to colleagues and customers
* Maintaining accurate records of diagnostics and repairs
* Collaborating within a team to deliver excellent service
Requirements for the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role:
* Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or similar role
* Strong technical knowledge of modern automotive systems
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Relevant industry qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
