Job Title: Architect Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 Location: Central London Aztrum is delighted to be working with a forward-thinking, planning-driven design studio with a strong reputation across architecture, planning, and urban design. The practice is currently looking for a skilled Architect to join its imaginative, collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a studio delivering context-aware, design-led projects across a variety of sectors including residential, mixed-use, education, healthcare, and heritage. As an Architect within the team, you’ll help realise thoughtful, policy-aligned design outcomes with a strong focus on sustainability, social value, and long-term resilience. Collaborating with a talented group of planners, urban designers, and architects, you’ll gain hands-on involvement in all project stages, contributing to the creation of places that genuinely serve their communities. Key Responsibilities for this Architect role: • Contribute to the design and delivery of projects across a broad mix of sectors and typologies. • Develop coordinated drawings and technical details in Revit (proficiency essential). • Work closely with planning and design colleagues to integrate policy, context, and placemaking principles. • Support planning application processes with robust, regulation-aligned submissions. • Champion sustainable, inclusive, and site-specific design thinking across projects. • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to produce architecture that’s both buildable and meaningful. Key Requirements for this Architect role: • ARB-registered Architect with a recognised qualification in architecture. • Demonstrated design strength with a commitment to socially conscious, sustainable architecture. • Experience across various RIBA stages, from concept through to delivery. • Strong Revit skills, with an understanding of BIM-led workflows. • Effective team player with clear communication and coordination capabilities. • Detail-focused, proactive, and passionate about planning-integrated design approaches.
