Transport Coordinator, youll handle all aspects of transport administration, driver support, and compliance. Youll be the key link between drivers, planners, warehouse teams, and customers -ensuring everything runs on time, safely, and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Handle daily transport office administration and paperwork. Record and monitor driver hours in line with WTD and tachograph legislation. Support with
Paragon
route execution and data capture for KPIs. Pre-brief and debrief drivers, ensuring accurate documentation. Download and manage tachograph data at the start and end of each shift. Deal with day-to-day driver, customer, and internal department queries. Liaise with warehouse and planning teams to manage load availability and routes. Report and log vehicle defects using
Axscend
and ensure timely repairs. Coordinate with vehicle maintenance providers and compliance departments. Manage driver cards, fuel cards, keys, and issue all relevant documentation. Ensure operational reports are completed and submitted on time. Support compliance, servicing, and safety processes (including QSHE). Assist with KPI reporting and escalate issues where required. Participate in GXO training and development programmes. Carry out any other duties as required by management. Skills & Experience Required Knowledge Understanding of Tachograph compliance, WTD, and transport legislation. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Skills Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional telephone manner. Customer-focused with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly. Confident working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong numeracy and literacy skills. Experience Previous experience in a similar transport administration or logistics role desirable. Experience in a customer-facing, fast-moving operational environment. Knowledge of transport systems such as Paragon or Axscend advantageous. Behaviours Positive, professional, and team-focused attitude. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. Committed to maintaining safety, compliance, and quality standards. Willingness to learn and grow within the transport function.
