SELF EMPLOYED VAN DRIVER
Menzies Distribution are looking for Self Employed Owner Driver’s to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers on a self-employed basis, providing a first-class service with our team in Maidstone. The contract covers a 7-day operation, packing and delivering in the early hours of the morning. Please note, start time from 1:30am until finish, expected finish between 7:00am – 8:00am dependent on route
1. Earn £600 - £800 per week, with further earnings potential available.
2. 3.5t vehicle required (transit or similar) with business insurance.
3. Contractor holder must be able to substitute themselves with a relief driver when unable to operate the route themselves.
4. Job entails carrying out route preparation, loading own vehicle and delivery of product to between 20-40 customers per day (same delivery points each day), and returning to depot with any unsold product.

SELF EMPLOYED COURIER REQUIREMENTS
5. The ‘Right To Work’ in the UK with no serious unspent criminal convictions
6. A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence
7. 3.5-tonne van (Transit or similar)
8. Goods In Transit Insurance
9. Public Liability Insurance
10. Hire and Reward Insurance
11. No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR
12. Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role
13. Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
PLEASE NOTE
If you do not currently own or have access to a 3.5-tonne vehicle (Transit or similar) you must be in a financial position to be able to lease or purchase one. You will also need to have all insurances (Goods in Transit, Public Liability & Hire and Reward) in place prior to starting.
