As a Transport Administrator based in Middlewich, you will work a Monday to Friday shift pattern on the afternoon shift (12:00 - 20:00), be responsible for managing and coordinating transport activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and providing exceptional customer service and support to colleagues and clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. General administration duties in-line with Transport legislation, company policy and procedures
2. To work with, assist, and report to the Transport Management team
3. Ensuring good standards of Health and Safety processes are followed by yourself and the team
4. Assist with the management of vehicle defects through the VOR process
5. Administration of the movement of vehicles and associated activities.
6. Undertake all activities in line with KPI requirements and SLA’s.
7. Tracks and supports the organisation of servicing on time in accordance with procedures.
8. Deal with defects and maintenance of fleet.
9. Issues correct paperwork and books out drivers from the transport department
10. Tracking of vehicles and deliveries.
11. Face to face interaction with drivers when conducting pre- and de-briefs.
12. Continuously monitors the in-house and third-party management software systems, ensuring compliance with key system requirements.
13. Ensure compliance with all Company, statutory and Health and Safety obligations.
14. Works closely with key operational partners including other departments, depots and customer locations.
15. Other site administration as and when required

36. Previous experience in the logistics sector is desirable, but not essential.
37. Understanding of transport regulations and requirements
38. An understanding of transport systems Vision, Telematics
39. Proven experience of dealing with maintenance suppliers to ensure fast and effective service levels.
