Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both fabrication and assembly. Duties
* Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, fittings, and furniture according to specifications.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials.
* Perform carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, and installation of doors and windows.
* Engage in joinery work, ensuring precision in measurements and cuts.
* Provide electrical support for installations that require wiring or fixtures.
* Handle heavy lifting as necessary during the assembly and installation processes.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
* Proficient in fabrication techniques and assembly processes within the joinery field.
* Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction and woodworking.
* Experience in carpentry finishing work.
* Familiarity with joinery practices that ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties.
* Competence in construction painting techniques for various surfaces.
* Basic plumbing skills for integrating fixtures into joinery projects.
* Understanding of masonry principles for structural applications when required.
* Electrical experience is advantageous for completing integrated installations effectively.
