Clarus Education is working in partnership with a fantastic, inclusive school in Bromley, South East London, to recruit an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher. This is a permanent, full-time position starting January 2026.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for a dedicated SEN Teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. You will be joining a highly supportive and nurturing school environment that values personalised learning, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging, high-quality, and differentiated lessons suited to the diverse needs of your pupils. You will work closely with the school’s SENCo, support staff, and senior leadership team to plan and implement tailored learning programmes that enable every pupil to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver well-differentiated, creative lessons that meet the unique needs of pupils with SEN.
* Support pupils across a wide range of needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning needs.
* Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor and record individual pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches accordingly.
* Contribute to the development and review of EHCP targets and annual reviews.
* Work effectively with teaching assistants, parents, and external specialists.
* Promote high expectations, resilience, and positive learning behaviours.
* Maintain full compliance with safeguarding policies and best practice.
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has proven experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally in primary or secondary settings.
* Demonstrates a sound understanding of inclusive practice and adaptive teaching.
* Calm, patient, and resilient, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and fostering their development.
* Available to start full-time in January 2026.
