Key Responsibilities:
* Report to the Sub Agent and supervise the site engineering team from construction to closeout.
* Assist with temporary works design and liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labor, plant, and materials.
* Manage the site setting-out team and oversee performance and development of Site Engineers.
* Identify and resolve technical problems in collaboration with the Sub Agent.
* Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
* Ensure the team has up-to-date information and resources for their tasks.
* Assist in producing programs, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.
* Experience writing and preparing risk assessments and method statements.
* Able to programme works up to 3-week look ahead.
* Manage and mentor a team of site engineers and graduate engineers.
* High focus on quality assurance in previous roles.
* Experience with Fit Out and interface with MEP.
* Working closely with the section Sub agent ensures the programme is valid.
Required Qualifications & Competencies:
* HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
* Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
* Experience in utilities, earthworks, heavy structures or drainage is essential for this role.
* SMSTS or SSSTS.
* CSCS White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor.
* Full driving license required.
* Must have their own transport to be able to attend site(s) in remote areas.
