At Bosworth, we follow the AQA syllabus for both English Language and English Literature GCSE. In English Language, students engage with a diverse range of texts, exploring both creative and real-world contexts. They are encouraged to develop higher-order reading and critical thinking skills that promote genuine enquiry into varied topics and themes. In English Literature, we inspire students to appreciate the power and beauty of the written word, helping them to analyse, interpret, and connect with texts on a deeper level. The Successful Candidate Will: Teach English from Year 7 to Year 13, including GCSE and A Level. Inspire students to develop a lifelong love of literature and language. Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and inclusive lessons. Contribute to the continued success and development of the English, EFL & MFL Department.
