I am non-verbal but expressive, cheeky, and full of personality. With the right support, I thrive. I am looking for a Patient, observant, and emotionally intelligent PA to be part of my team. Experience in behavioural support is welcome but not essential—full training is provided, including sessions with our Behavioural Consultant. Driver required to take me out. Male / female preferred. Hours of work Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Wednesday 7.30am-8.30am. Occasional extra days may be required for team training sessions, scheduled well in advance. Rate of pay. £13.50 per hour Essential: I need you to: • Be creative, dynamic, and able to think on their feet • Be willing to learn and adapt as my needs evolve • Be in good general health and physical condition, with the stamina to support an active daily routine • Be comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and pushing a wheelchair • Be a confident driver with a full UK or EU driving licence and access to a reliable car • Be educated to A-level standard or with relevant experience • Be fluent in English (spoken and written) with basic maths skills • Be empathetic and enthusiastic about working with individuals with special needs Desirable I’d prefer if: • You have previous experience. I’d like support with Washing showering and dressing • Personal care, changing pad and toileting • Daily day to day tasks • Administering medication (put ready up by mum) I will need my PA to: Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality. Be confident, mature and have patience. Be dependable and arrive on time. Be friendly with an easy-going manner. Be adaptable and flexible. Be supportive but not take over. Concerning the position A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
