Job Summary
We are seeking full‑time, permanent, Senior Family Help Workers to provide leadership and support to frontline Family Help Workers across Lincolnshire. These roles involve leading, supervising, mentoring and delivering evidence‑based interventions to children, young people and families.

* 1 permanent – North Kesteven, based in Birchwood
* 1 fixed‑term/secondment 12 months mat leave cover – North Kesteven, Birchwood
* 2 permanent – Lincoln & West Lindsey, based in St Giles and Gainsborough
* 1 fixed‑term/secondment 12 months mat leave cover – Boston
* 1 fixed‑term/secondment 12 months mat leave cover – East Lindsey, Louth/Horncastle
* 1 fixed‑term/secondment 9 months – East Lindsey, Louth/Horncastle
Eligibility & Visa
Due to recent changes in immigration law in the UK, we are unable to offer skilled worker visa sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the requirements of RQF Level 6.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Family Help Worker, you will provide leadership and guidance to Family Help Workers in their day‑to‑day practice, ensuring timely, high‑quality, evidence‑based interventions that build resilience and prevent needs from escalating. You will offer regular supervision, mentoring and opportunities for professional development, while collaborating closely with social work teams, schools, health services and community partners to deliver a coordinated approach to supporting families. The post holder will need to travel, work flexibly and demonstrate a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and wider practice improvement.
Qualifications
* Professional qualification in youth work (JNCIA‑Recognised) or Social Work
* Diploma/Qualification in Careers Guidance or Level 4 in Guidance
* Diploma or equivalent Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject for working with children, young people and families
* Two years post‑qualification experience
* Experience in people management, including supporting, guiding and mentoring others
* Knowledge of child development, adolescent risk‑taking behaviour and trauma‑informed approaches
* Collaborative, committed and motivated, with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds

Fluency Duty
