MSV Post is the Post Production arm of the Tinopolis group, with facilities in London, Wales and Glasgow. We are responsible for longform post for all production companies within the group, including Mentorn Media, Sunset+Vine, Pioneer Productions, Passion Distribution and Firecracker Films.
Our operations provide a full range of services from workflow design and on location services, through to edit, final post & delivery.

THE ROLE
We are looking to employ a self-motivated, highly organised Senior Edit Assistant with professional post production experience, who is looking for a step up in their career or wants to take on a new challenge with the opportunity to progress within a supportive, friendly team.
As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to take a lead role throughout the life of a project from providing on set supervision and devising workflows, through to preparing the project for online, final deliverables, consolidation, and archiving.
Along with the following key points, to be successful in the role you will also have excellent communication skills, be adept at handling large scale projects and be proficient in delegation and workflow management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensuring a high level of service and accurate deliverables to clients.
* Working closely with the Bookings Department in ensuring that they receive sufficient Technical support/assistance.
* Edit Assisting – Sync Maps, Conforming, Audio Exports etc.
* Provide Avid, Premiere & Resolve support across our 3 sites (London/Glasgow/Wales)
* Devising workflow and instigating.
* Junior editor work including compliance editing/ Tasters/ Development projects.
* General assistant duties: Nexis management, exports, back up and ingest of file-based camera rushes, following a variety of workflows. Relink, conform and Online Prep.
* Creating viewing files and other final deliverables.
* Desirable - Supervise of all broadcast deliverables, which includes file delivery (AS11, IMF etc) Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assessment Reports (QAR)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Previous experience within a Post Production environment
* Proficient with Avid Media Composer
* Experience with Avid AMA tapeless workflows.
* Expert knowledge of file formats, compression & conversion.
* Experience of remote workflows.
* Experience of Content Agent, Interplay and Blackbird an advantage.
* Excellent knowledge of broadcast technical specs, post production techniques and working practices.
* Junior editor experience beneficial.
