Responsibilities
Location: Aberdare, South Wales
Main Job Function: www.tubex.com
Responsible for supporting the safety of the assigned production areas and personnel, under limited control from the area supervisor, with the ability to follow plans and meet targets.
Utilize SCADA and ERP systems to ensure all lines operate according to plan, reporting or actioning deviations as necessary.
Issue SOPs to personnel, oversee training, and supervise activities on the production lines.
Implement TPM in production lines, maintain data and KPI accuracy, organize production areas, and lead cell leaders during issues. Possess knowledge of starting and running manufacturing lines.
Additional duties include but are not limited to:
* Adhering to safety instructions and health guidelines
* Managing operators to ensure safety, quality, and line efficiency
* Assisting with R&D projects
* Collaborating with other departments
* Managing tooling and conducting audits
* Ensuring proper packaging and replenishment
* Supporting diameter changes and first-off confirmation
* Raising work requests and hazard reports
* Performing tool maintenance
* Addressing quality issues and corrective actions
* Training trainees and apprentices
* Accurate documentation and procedural compliance
* Supporting 5S audits and KPI achievement
* Using machine data for efficiency improvements
* Responding to machine breakdowns
* Contributing to process improvements and NPD trials
* Effective communication across shifts and departments

Shift Pattern:
* Week 1: 7am - 3pm
* Week 2: 3pm - 11pm
* Week 3: 11pm - 7am
* (Monday 7am to Saturday 7am)

Qualifications
Manufacturing experience preferred, team lead experience, fluent in written and spoken English.
