We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and inspiring Primary Junior School Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming school community. This role involves delivering engaging and high-quality teaching to pupils, creating a positive learning environment, and supporting children’s academic and personal development.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
* Assess, monitor, and track pupils’ progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
* Differentiate teaching approaches to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
* Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
* Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and staff to support learning outcomes.
* Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
* Contribute to school life, including meetings, planning, and development activities (pro rata).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting (preferably Key Stage 2 or junior years).
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
* Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire young learners.
* Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and procedures.
