Job Description
As a Radio Network Swap Project Lead, you will spearhead vital technology upgrades and vendor transitions within our Customer Services team, specifically focusing on NW Design & Optimisation. You will play a key role in ensuring our communications networks are flawlessly planned and executed, collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and our customers. How You Will Contribute and What You Will Learn
* Lead and execute radio network swap projects, including technology upgrades and vendor transitions (e.g., Ericsson to Nokia)
* Develop HLD/LLD for medium‑high complexity network requirements, capacity planning, network interface analysis, and provide overall engineering support
* Use planning tools in Advanced Network Planning. Consult and independently develop configuration files, capacity planning, network interface analysis and design, and overall engineering support based on ongoing traffic trends
* Analyse and plan cell/site migration, ensuring coverage, capacity and quality are preserved or improved post‑swap
* Conduct RF planning and performance analysis before and after swap activities
* Collaborate with engineering, operations and customer teams to develop and validate swap strategies and cutover plans
* Verify parameter settings for the swapped network
* Monitor KPIs and optimise network performance during and after the swap phase
* Generate technical documentation and reports on swap progress and site acceptance, challenges and solutions
Key Skills and Experience
If you have:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field
* Strong working experience on Radio Access technologies (planning & optimisation) and swap projects
* Independent level on Nokia 2G/3G/4G/SRAN & 5G parameters, counters and KPIs
* Proficiency in drive test data analysis and network optimisation tools
* In‑depth troubleshooting capability from analysis of network statistics under tight deadlines
* Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across cross‑functional teams
* Experience with multi‑vendor environments (Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson) is a strong plus
It would be nice if you also had:
* Experience with 5G swap projects
* Familiarity with OSS platforms and Geosynthesis tool
* Scripting (e.g., Python, SQL)
