Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Lettings Negotiator to join their busy and successful Portishead Office. Role Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Lettings Negotiator to join a successful and expanding lettings team in Portishead. This role will involve managing property viewings, negotiating offers, securing lets and building strong relationships with both landlords and tenants. Working alongside an experienced team, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service throughout the lettings process. Key Responsibilities: Register tenant applicants and match them to suitable rental properties Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of applicants, enquiries and activity Arrange and book property valuation appointments Conduct accompanied property viewings with prospective tenants Negotiate tenancy agreements between landlords and tenants Progress offers through to successful completion Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors Work closely with the wider lettings and property management teams Deliver a high level of customer service at all times Monitor local market trends and identify business opportunities Contribute towards individual and team targets Support the continued growth and success of the branch Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience within residential lettings (minimum 6 months preferred but not essential) Strong negotiation and sales skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Target-driven with a positive and proactive attitude Full UK driving licence essential Must be willing to use own vehicle when required (pool car available) Package and Benefits: £26,000 - £28,000 basic salary DOE with an uncapped OTE of up to £33,000 Full-time, permanent position Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm One in 3 Saturdays Ongoing in-house and online training provided Support and encouragement to obtain a Property Qualification equivalent to a Level 3 NVQ 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays Opportunity to join a growing and successful independent agency Career progression opportunities within a multi-branch business
