Our client is a dynamic global FMCG business with a portfolio of much-loved household name brands, combining heritage brand strength with entrepreneurial energy and a commitment to continuous learning and creating opportunities for its employees. With a new and ambitious growth plan, and team of blue-chip trained marketers, it is seeking an experienced, commercially-savvy BRAND MANAGER to take on an ambitious remit to drive two of its key brands in the UK market, in a competitive and busy category. Position Overview
In this challenging role, you'll own your brands on a day-to-day basis, with responsibility for the P&L, revenue and market share and the annual brand strategy. You'll develop and execute compelling integrated marketing campaigns, collaborating across functions to identify growth opportunities and use consumer & shopper insights to shape brand direction and activity.
Your Responsibilities
Leading development and delivery of the UK brand plan with clear commercial objectives
Owning the brand P&L with accountability for ambitious market share and revenue targets
Building a powerful innovation pipeline, with short and longer-term targets
Driving cross-functional collaboration with sales, innovation, finance and supply chain teams
Identifying business growth initiatives underpinned by consumer & shopper insight and market data
Managing A&P, shopper and digital/social campaigns, working closely with agency partners
Analysing data from sources including Nielsen and Kantar to monitor performance
Presenting brand insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Who are we looking for
Minimum 3-5 years' robust UK brand management in FMCG or consumer health sector
Proven track record of developing and delivering 360-degree campaigns across traditional and digital channels
Robust academic background to degree level
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and consumer insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in digital marketing and on-line campaign management
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
