Role
This role is based in London and is part of the Global Advisory Communications team. The candidate will support marketing and communications campaigns that promote the Global Advisory business worldwide and align with the global communications strategy. The primary focus is on analysing Global Advisory and competitor data to inform compelling marketing messages and strengthen the effectiveness of external and internal communications. The role also involves managing key projects and collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Credentials analysis
o Analyse data from league table databases and other sources to generate statistics on company performance for marketing materials.
o Provide the Marketing team with observations on trends and areas of strong performance to aid planning.
o Analyse Rothschild & Co’s track‑record credentials to identify themes and standout transactions.
o Respond to ad‑hoc requests from bankers for supporting statistics and messages.
o Ensure that these statistics and messages are available to bankers through database management.
* Relationship holder with external league‑table databases
o Act as first point of contact for bankers regarding league‑table queries or issues.
o Ensure Rothschild & Co is correctly represented in league tables.
o Resolve issues and challenges with banker teams related to league tables.
o Manage quarterly league‑table data generation and formatting for client presentations.
o Proactively analyse databases with banker teams to prevent other advisers from receiving league‑table credit in error.
* Management of the credentials process
o Support the management of the credentials process with outsourced partners to ensure all credentials are accurate, up‑to‑date and public‑disclosable.
* Document preparation
o Assist the Marketing team with applying messages and statistics to materials.
o Prepare other ad‑hoc documents for bankers, investor relations, senior management and other business units.
* Project management
o Manage the design and implementation of one‑off projects.
Experience, Skills and Competencies
* Strong analytical skills with intermediate Excel proficiency.
* Good document presentation skills with intermediate PowerPoint proficiency.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to manage a varied and often pressured workload.
* Self‑starter capable of taking initiative and working proactively to add value to the team and resolve issues independently.
* Experience working closely with bankers across all levels.
* Good written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with colleagues at any level.
* Understanding of and interest in investment banking is desirable.
* Experience in a corporate setting, particularly within financial or professional services, is beneficial but not required.
Education and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree.
* Appropriate work experience will also be considered.
