Job Description
As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Software Engineering Group, you will be at the forefront of solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You will apply your expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve common goals. Job Responsibilities
* Mentor and manage a high‑performance delivery team, providing technical direction and ensuring high quality deliverables.
* Hands‑on end‑to‑end project delivery responsibilities.
* Ensure the team delivers timely key milestones supporting a clear roadmap and requirements.
* Clarify and defend architecture and design decisions and ensure they are practical and feasible to implement by the team.
* Partner with technology peers and product owners and lead collaborative efforts to ensure a successful end‑to‑end project delivery.
* Translate functional requirements to technical design and requirements.
* Perform code reviews, develop and review test scenarios in collaboration with QA.
Required Qualifications
* Formal training or certification on Java Development concepts.
* Advanced experience in Core Java, Object‑Oriented programming, RDBMS (Oracle), SQL, Spring.
* Strong understanding of Agile methodology and related tools (JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, Lint).
* Experience with Cloud and Container development (Kubernetes, Docker, Gaia).
* Knowledge of NoSQL is a plus.
* Banking and payments domain background is a plus.
* Knowledge of microservices frameworks and tools (Spring Boot, Swagger).
Preferred Qualifications
* Computer Science degree.
* Experience with Cloud and Container based development (Gaia, Kubernetes, Docker).
* Experience using NoSQL.
* Banking and payments domain background.
