A global manufacturing organisation with a strong reputation for innovation and technical excellence is seeking an experienced HR Assistant (Generalist) to provide essential support to their HR function.

Your New Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will provide hands‑on HR administrative support during a period of planned absence within the team. This is a varied and busy generalist role where you will be involved in:
1. Coordinating absence review meetings
2. Preparing documentation for disciplinary processes, including invite letters and note-taking in meetings
3. Taking notes in formal meetings when required
4. Assisting with recruitment activity – CV screening, interview coordination, and supporting hiring managers
5. Preparing induction packs and supporting with new starter onboarding and inductions.
6. Providing day‑to‑day assistance support to the Head of HR.
7. Using Workday to maintain accurate employee records.
8. Supporting payroll administration, working closely with the payroll team.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
9. Previous HR administration experience – essential.
10. Confidence in speaking with employees at all levels.
11. A proactive, down‑to‑earth approach and the ability to “hold your own”.
12. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
13. Experience within a manufacturing environment (highly desirable).
