Our client is looking to recruit two assembly technicians to join their business at an exciting time of growth. The client currently are technologies designers in four exciting markets: Security, Industrial, Medical and Food. They are looking for someone with wiring, crimping, testing and soldering experience but this role would suit someone who is eager to learn new skills or refresh existing ones.
Assembly Technician Duties Include:
* You will be working on the product from the begin of the process all the way to the end, including testing and packaging
* Wiring
* Crimping
* Product Testing
* Soldering
Assembly Technician Requirements:
* Eagerness to learn new skills
* Strong working ethic
* Assembly of electronic modules
* Soldering of connectors
* Cable assembly including wire stripping and tinning, crimping and terminating
* Soldering of surface mount devices
* Mechanical assembly
* Testing of finished assemblies
* Fault finding skills
* Follow technical procedures
(Training will be given if skills need to be taught or refreshed)
Hours of Work:
37.5 hours a week; core Hours Monday - Thursday 10am - 4pm / Friday 10am - 12pm.
